With each new recruit, the locket gains in power, turning from blue to red. When the Enchantress killed and resurrected Donovan, she used the locket as a means to ensure Donovan would gather the 8 knights for the order as he had promised. He had given it to Donovan, because he had come to regard him as part of his family. As the campaign goes on, it is revealed it was originally a normal locket, a family keepsake of the departed Luan. At the start of the game and after every level, the undead knight is seen reminiscing with the locket on the balcony of the Tower of Fate. The Keepsake Locket holds significance to Specter Knight. It keeps track of how many knights have been recruited to The Order of No Quarter and is red instead of blue. In the prequel Specter of Torment, the Phase Locket appears in the gear tab as the Keepsake Locket. Finding it has been stolen, the undead knight slices the chest in two and angrily throw shakes his fist. In the ending, Specter Knight is looking for it in the chest Plague Knight can steal it from. It can be traded to Chester for the Leech Liquid Arcana in the room Shovel Knight normally buys it. In Plague of Shadows, it is found in the Lich Yard's secret area marked by a Cipher Coin embedded in a wall. It can be purchased from Chester for 1000 in the Lich Yard, or in the Village for 2000 after completing the stage. This Relic is also the subject of the Another Dimension Feat which is earned by collecting 2000 lying on spikes, while using the Phase Locket. The Forest of Phasing Relic Course is intended to be completed using the Phase Locket. The Phase Locket makes its holder temporarily invincible and capable of phasing through enemies or running on Spikes. Keep pressing your attack while dodging his, and you will defeat him.Appearances Shovel of Hope Usage As he nears death, he will call in an airship to bombard the area with giant cannon balls and smaller bombs that will tear holes in the stage - and you! Cross the pit using the Propeller Dagger to get to Music Sheet #38 and a chest full of gems hidden in the left wall.Īfter clearing another vertical shaft of the Flying Ship past the fourth checkpoint, look for a flying knight guarding the top of the shaft and jump up to his position, and destroy the wall behind him for a chest of gems.Īs you pogo hop your way across the line of small cannon fire leading to the boss, look for a sparkling pit at the far end. Destroy the right wall to find a ladder leading upwards. You can fish at the sparkling pit in the area below for Music Sheet #39.Īfter you climb the vertical section of the Flying Ship past the row of electric jellyfish and reach an area with a wizard, defeat him and jump up to where he was. With the relic in hand, fly over to the right and then down. Head right and carefully make your way across the spike pit, making sure to avoid the moving propellers so you can safely make the jumps all the way to the blue chest with Chester who will sell you the Propeller Dagger Relic for 4,000 gold. Since the gusts of air won’t let you near that part of the wall, you’ll have to get momentum by jumping down from the area above and into a secret alcove. When you reach a vertical area of the Flying Machine with propellers blowing gusts of air upwards toward a ladder, look for a pattern of wall on the right side next to the propellers. After beating the miniboss and reaching the second checkpoint, dig through the right wall both above and below to find food and a chest with gems.
